Okay, so today wasn't really that bad, especially once the sun came out and everything started warming up. I met with Dr. Boyle to discuss my upcoming paper; his office is full of books (Daddy, he has a couple shelves of books by and about Thomas More, and one for books by Etienne Gilson; I thought of you!). There were a number of extremely old books, one a Bible from - I want to say - the 1600s? Sometime a very long time ago. :) It is enormous and was made on a printing press; less than a quarter of each page is the text of the Bible, and the rest are glossings (commentaries in the margins and between the lines). An amazing work!
But did I take a picture of it? Nope. Or of anything else? Of course not. Sorry! I'll try to get one tomorrow.
