Friday!

I have to admit that the idea of "Friday" gets more and more exciting every year (and not, of course, because I'm doing illicit activities or have the prospect of illicit activities in the near future).  This semester it's mainly because I don't have afternoon classes, so I get to hunker down from 1 o'clock on and get homework done. :) (No wonder I liked homeschooling!)

The farmer's market was back today; I got cherry tomatoes and "Homestead beans" -- they look like huge (> 6") pea pods with purple spots; I'll be sure to take a picture when I cook them!

My absentee ballot came in the mail:

And, familia mea (ask Davey), I love the apples; they are just right!  I'll be sure to look for MacIntosh from now on (right?), and if you accidentally end up with some, you know who will take them. :)
